Before we delve into the Christmas mania that Starbucks has already sprung upon us, let us take a look at the best celebrity Halloween costumes of 2014. First, we would love to give a shout out to Kim Kardashian, appearing first as a cool skeleton, but foremost for coming up with her 2nd costume, where she dressed up as Anna Wintour alongside her makeup artist and bestie Joyce Bonelli (Grace Coddington). While they most likely had no idea who they were dressed up as, we also couldn’t help but awwww over North West and Bonelli’s son as they dressed up as Andre Leon Talley and Karl Lagerfeld. Other clever costumes this year included Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy as Janet and Michael Jackson, Kelly Osbourne as The Royal Tenenbaums character Margot Tenenbaum, as well as Sarah Hyland as little orphan Annie and Nicole Richie as Cruella de Vil.

Also on the Halloween 2014 scene, we saw a number of models dressed up, including Gisele Bündchen, who let her four year old son choose the family’s costumes (monsters, of course), and Alessandra Ambrosio who sported a metallic silver cat costume, as well as Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner who paired up to be Mario and Luigi. Our best dressed model award would have to be split between the queen of Halloween, Heidi Klum, who dressed up as a lifesize butterfly, and Kate Moss, who nailed it dressed up as her Burberry campaign partner Cara Delevingne.

While the list of awesome celeb costumes can go on and on, we’ll leave you with a few other favourites including, Kate Hudson in a leather-clad Sons of Anarchy-inspired get-up, Katy Perry as a lifesize cheeto, and our November cover girl Taylor Swift as a pegacorn.

Our last very important message is that Rihanna is back on Instagram, which came just in time for a reveal of her Halloween costume—a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (Raphael in specific). Now, before you say adios to Halloween for good, take a good look at our list of best celeb costumes and tell us which one is your favourite.
